Clicky the It-Programmer
When I decided to continue my
education, it was not an easy decision to make. I had many factors to consider
before enrolling into a college. Some of those factors which I had to consider
were tuition, class availability, and length of the program. On the other hand,
my motivation to pursue a higher education is my family.
I am a student at Milwaukee Area
Technical College (MATC), enrolled in the Information Technology Programming
/Analyst Degree. Choosing MATC was an easy decision for me, I decided to
attend MATC because of its reputation within the communities and employers.
Tuition was another factor that encouraged me to attend MATC. The price of
MATC’s tuition is perfect for me to get a jump start on a higher education. Moreover, the program that I’m interested in is offered
during evening hours, allowing me to work a full time job and attend School.
The last 8 years of my life I have been working in the retail banking industry. Throughout these years a have developed great customer skills and gain an extensive banking knowledge. After years of working in banking I have decided to follow my passion for technology and in the future make a career of it.
Ever since I owned my first
computer, I started to wonder how computers and its applications worked. There
were a couple of times were I took the computer apart to see the inside of the
machine and its components. But, my real
passion for PC’s was born when the smart phones were introduced to the market
with all those fancy applications. That's when I decided that I wanted to become an
IT programmer. I know technology will continue to change the world
and I want to be part of the change.
//Simple Computer Program in
C#, Outputs Hello World!
Using System;
Namespace HelloWorld
{
Class Hello World
{
Static
Void Main ()
{
Console.WriteLine(“Hello
World!”);
Console. ReadKey();
}
}
}
}
You have made a wise decision on obtaining a higher education by attending MATC, specially pursuing a degree in technology. Now a days most jobs are dependable on computers, but most of all you're doing what you like to do, which means its your passion and not just another job. Good luck to you as a future IT programmer and on your new career path.
